We are sad to announce that on April 18, 2022, at the age of 73, Roy Dale Johnson of Hudson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Claude Johnson Sr.; and his sister Wanda J. Tarleton. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Byrd Johnson; his sons, Adam T. Johnson (Melissa) of Conover, Casey R. Johnson (Jessica) of Lenoir and William J. Johnson (Ivy) of Granite Falls; his brothers, C. W. Johnson Jr. (Carolyn) of Lenoir and Van Johnson (Evelyn); his grandchildren, MacKenzie Johnson, Tyler Johnson, JT Dula (Alyssa), Holden Johnson, Gabrielle "Gabi" Johnson, Finnegan Johnson and Scarlett Johnson; and his siblings' children, Jill Tarleton, Jodie Eggars, David Johnson and Shane Johnson.
