With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sallie Ann Cannon of Hudson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Roby; and her siblings, Opal "Babe" Ritch, Sara Jean "Curly Head" Curtis, Lynn "Baby" Greene, Robert G. "Sug" Cannon, Kelly B. "Buster" Cannon, Bill James Cannon, William Hill "Fat" Cannon, Roby Lee "Sonny" Cannon, Jr. and Jack Cannon.
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Simmons Wise (Tommy) and George Randall "Randy" Cannon; and her grandchildren, Misty Smith, Danielle Bame (James), Whitney Hildebran (Ethan), Logan Crump (Kaley), Trevor Crump and Megan Hamby. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wildwood Cemetery (258 Wildwood Rd, Lenoir, NC 28645).
