It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Jean Serrano of Hudson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 13, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Turner Baldwin and Mildred Whisnant Baldwin; and her husband Jorge Ivan Serrano. She is survived by: her daughters, Samantha Horton of Lenoir, Alice Price (Chad Triplett) of Lenoir and Tabitha Darby of Lenoir; her siblings, Dennis Baldwin of Lenoir and Delores Kay Nicholson of Statesville; her grandchildren, Whitney Witherspoon (Eric), Brooke Horton, Chelsea Kralovics (Tom), Lani Walsh (Brandon), Erin Darby (Caleb Austin), Evan Earp and Eli Earp; her aunt Judy Snyder (Steve); her uncle Douglas Whisnant (Delores); her close friend Charity Medlock; and the father of her children Norman Pritchard. She is also survived by sixteen great grandchildren.
