As we bid Chris farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Chris is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Stanley Burford and Jim Burford; her sibling Lynn Burford; her husband John Lundsten; and her daughters, Laura, Marissa and Vanessa Lundsten.

Even in death, she continues to give, donating her body to Wake Forest University.
