It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Danny Pilley of Huntersville, North Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Pilley and Nancy Pilley (Stewart); his brother Ronald Pilley; and his stepfather Wilmer Rorrer. He is survived by: his wife Kay Pilley; his children, Brad Pilley (Lisa) and Dandy Tomczyk (Jim); his grandchildren, Ashleigh, Connor, Haley, William and Sydney; and his great grandchildren, Colin and Lucas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Levine & Dickson Hospice House, where Dan spent his final days and was cared for with dignity and compassion.
