It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dwight Keel McKnight Sr. of Huntersville, North Carolina, born in Georgetown, South Carolina, who passed away on January 18, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father Dwight Ezra McKnight; and his wife Jane Skinner McKnight. He is survived by : his sons, Dwight K. McKnight, Jr. (Donna) of Denver, NC, Scott C. McKnight (Debbie) of Choctaw, OK and Jason W. McKnight of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Hannah McKnight (Noah Gillie) of Blacksburg, VA, Matthew McKnight (Amber) of Fremont, CA, Whitney McKnight of Rosharon, TX, Dwight McKnight, III (Jaci) of Raleigh, NC and Jocelyn McKnight of Charlotte; his great grandchildren, Alice McKnight, Lysander McKnight and Iona Gillie; and his close friend Dorothy Carley of Huntersville, NC..
