We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2023, at the age of 82, Edda Hergert Shaffer (Huntersville, North Carolina) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edda Hergert Shaffer to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Heinrich Hergert and Karoline Hergert; her daughter Colleen Denise Luat; and her brother Rolf Hergert. She is survived by : her daughters, Deborah Luat, Carol Moore, Patty Luat, Nicole Miller (Dawn Frickel) and Corinna Luat-Jackson (Arnie Jackson); her sister Karin; her grandchildren, Michael Hagerman, Pat Hagerman, Chace, Kyle Miller, Jordan DelDotto and Jaime DelDotto; and her great grandchildren, Nova Lynn DelDotto, Michael and Elijah Hagerman.

In lieu of flowers. Memorial Donations may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital or Hospice and Palliative Care Charlotte Region.
