It is with sadness that the passing of Richard Pool in Huntersville, North Carolina is shared. Richard, born on August 17, 1942, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Cecelia "Cedy" Pool; his son Robert Pool; his brother Ronald Pool; and his parents, Francis Pool and Sarah Pool.
He is survived by: his daughter Stacy Clark (JR) of Charlotte; his sister Janice Fort (Joe) of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Caden Austin of Charlotte, Miley Austin of Charlotte, Brody Austin of Charlotte, Brittany Scott (Jon) of Chatham County, Cassey Beal (John Mark) of Chatham County and Bryson Pool of Chatham County. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Cross and Crown Lutheran Church (300 Pineville-Matthews Rd, Matthews, NC 28105).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Larry's name to Levine and Dickson Hospice House of Huntersville.
