He is survived by: his wife Gail McSwain Ford; his daughter Susan Moss (Mark) of Cherryville; his grandchildren, Ethan Moss (Julia) and Lara Moss; his daughter Mary Tucker (Tim) of Sanford; his grandsons, Jonas and Eli Tucker; his son-in-law Brian Key; his grandchildren-in-law, Gracie Mosteller (Aaron) and Chase Key (Sydney); his great grandchild Ophelia "Opie" Mosteller; his sister-in-law Joette Ford; his nephew James of Cherryville; his sisters-in-law, Mary Helen Hinson (Tom) of Macon, GA and Wanda Hester of Lincolnton; his family, Dean and Leslie McSwain; and his close friend Kelly Stroud (Sherree).
