He is survived by: his children, Joseph Dean Hackworth, Lydia Lively, Cassy Hackworth (Dawn Roth) and Sandra Parsons; his grandchildren, Lara Kirkland (Cody), Amy Shea Hackworth, Christopher Parsons (Melanie) and Joshua Parsons (Constance); and his sister Alice Turner.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Lexington Cemetery (833 W Main St, Lexington, KY 40508).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, reflecting William's enduring support for his fellow servicemen and women.
