He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Henry and Katie Swann Jacobs; his wife Shirley Scoggins Jacobs; and his siblings, Frances Torain, Alexander Jacobs, Vince Jacobs, Russell Jacobs, Excell Jacobs, Jim Dallas Jacobs, Donnell Jacobs and Dennis Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, Lucinda Moses and Chance Jacobs of Roxboro; his grandson Isaiah McGhee; and his goddaughter Jade Jacobs of Durham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lattisville Grove Missionary Baptist Church (1701 Jimmy Ed Rd E, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
