Though Hazel may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Hazel leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dock Ragland and Onie Jones Ragland. She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Moore and Kevin Moore (Lisa) of Hurdle Mills; her grandchildren, Elethia Johnson of Hillsborough and Tevin Moore of Hillsborough; her great grandchildren, Mar'Vaia Parker of Hillsborough, Jaya Parker of Hillsborough and Ja'Von Moore of Raleigh; her sister Catherine Ragland of Hurdle Mills; and her sister-in-law Dorothy Moore of Carrboro. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church (3081 Hurdle Mills Rd, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
