We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2025, at the age of 88, James Asual Breeze (Hurdle Mills, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Breeze and Mamie Bradsher Breeze; and his siblings, Waddell, Melvin, Maurice, Russell Breeze, Ivaline Blaylock, Josephine Clayton, Norma Jean Gray, Violet Breeze and Betty Hearn.
He is survived by: his daughter Lisa B. Lau (John); his sisters, Margaret Loftis and Bernease Foushee; his grandchildren, Morgan Lau, Kirby Lau and Brooks Lau; and his close friend Brandon "Homer" Hawkins.
Viewing was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brooks and White Funeral Home (907 Durham Rd, Roxboro, NC 27573). A graveside service was held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wheeler's Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (990 Wheelers Church Rd, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541).
