He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Breeze and Mamie Bradsher Breeze; and his siblings, Waddell, Melvin, Maurice, Russell Breeze, Ivaline Blaylock, Josephine Clayton, Norma Jean Gray, Violet Breeze and Betty Hearn.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa B. Lau (John); his sisters, Margaret Loftis and Bernease Foushee; his grandchildren, Morgan Lau, Kirby Lau and Brooks Lau; and his close friend Brandon "Homer" Hawkins.
