She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Shug" Walker and Margaret Young Long Walker; and her husband Melvin Lee Parker. She is survived by: her brother Norwood Walker (Merlette); her niece Dori Hammock (Curtis); her nephew Thomas Walker (Bridget); her great-niece Vivian Hammock; and her great-nephews, Tucker Hammock and George Walker.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Walnut Grove United Methodist Church (7215 Walnut Grove Church Rd, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541).
