It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Edwards Terry of Hurdle Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Johnny Benjamin Edwards and Flora Ida Hanks Edwards; her husband Ervin Terry; and her siblings, Edgar "Junior" Lewis, Patsy Wilson and Phyllis Carver.

She is survived by : her daughters, Angela Terry (W. A. O'Briant) of Roxboro and Crystal Terry of Hurdle Mills; her siblings, Betty Lou Reaves, Barbara Ann Grimes, Bobby Lee "Robert" Edwards, Billy Gene Edwards, Joyce Wilson and Lynda Edwards Suitt-Puryear; her grandchildren, Joel Thomas Bowling, Jr. (Ashley), Emily Jo Bowling, David Nicholas Dillehay (Kyndall Dodson), Aaliyah Michelle Fox, Jayden Antonio Fox and Cameron Wilborn; and her pets, Diamond and Zoey.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Terry Residence (10057 Hurdle Mills Rd, Hurdle Mills, NC 27541).
