She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Patterson and Angela Butler Patterson; her grandparents, Lloyd, Mathie Patterson and Lawrence "Pop" Butler; and her great-aunt Myrtle Lee Davis.
She is survived by: her husband Christopher Aaron Owens; her children, Cooper David Owens and Abigail Lee Owens; her siblings, Amy Haivala (Samuel), Kristopher Patterson (Danielle) and Stephen Patterson (Amber); her grandmother Pamela "Little" Butler; and her siblings' children, Cameron Simpson, Carter Simpson, Noah Haivala, Michael Haivala, Hunter Patterson, Logan Patterson, Andrew Patterson, Hannah Patterson and Noah Patterson.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hopewell Baptist Church (420 Hopewell Church Rd, Monroe, NC 28110). A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Ritch Family Cemetery.
