He was predeceased by: his daughter Sherry Poplin Privette (Billy); his parents, Glen Poplin and Bertha Poplin; his parents-in-law, Luke and Edna Stanton; his siblings, Hoyle Poplin, Ted Poplin, Betty Smith, Joyce McGee, Evelyn Helms and Judy Rochester; and his sons-in-law, Billy Privette and William Hunter.
