He was predeceased by: his father Cecil Rhodes Roberts; Charles Roberts and Ann Morcerf (late Lester). He is survived by: his wife Susan Apgar Roberts (Sue) of Roselle, NJ; his children, Laurie Roberts Manor (Joe), David Andrew Roberts (Jennifer) and Allen Russell Roberts (Jackie); his grandchildren, Mayme (Jake), Malia, Zoe, Josh, Megan, Jonah, Katie (Gary), Zack and Ben; his great grandchildren, Ramsey, Hazel, Evelyn, Asher and Joe; and his sister Elizabeth Alvarez (late William).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Union County, North Carolina.
