With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dolores Varvorines (Indian Trail, North Carolina), born in Manhattan, New York, who passed away on January 27, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Varvorines Sr. and Mary Catherine Jerz; and her brother George Jr. (Alex Steininger Sr.). She is survived by: her children, June Vidal (Chris), Beth Steininger, Alexa Scharn (Greg) and Alex Steininger (Lourdes); her grandchildren, Samantha, Pamela, Guy, Alyssa, Kara, Alexa and Larissa; her great grandchildren, Emilia, Mason, Lukas, Lennon and Carter; and her sibling's children, Cassie Santiago (Santos) and Casey Varvorines. She is also survived by Her family includes 7 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC.
