He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest C Butler and Lillian E Butler (Hamrick); his children, Dwight L Butler Jr., Gary Butler and Sheryl Ann Butler; and his siblings, Ernest C Butler Jr., Donald Butler, Ronald Butler and Lillian Irene Purdy.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his sons, Michael Butler and Adrian Butler MD (Tracey); his grandchildren, Missie, Jessica, Tyler, Branden, Gavyn, Luke and Liam; his great grandchildren, Rosa, Royben, Rayne, Skye and Starr; and his sister Doris Grant. He is also survived by four nephews and twelve nieces.
