She was predeceased by: her husband John Henry Walters; her son Johnny Mac Walters; and her siblings, Oscar Laney, Rexford Laney, Roy Laney, Worth Laney, Josie Bell Forbis, Lucille Laney, Mozelle Mullis Reid, Kate Helms and Thelma Styron.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Harrington (Jerry) of Marshville, NC and Mike Walters (Kay) of Waxhaw, NC; and her grandchildren, Mark Harrington (Donna), Lynn Harrington (Sandy), Chris Walters (Kim), Patrick Walters (Shelley), Jimmy Walters (Crystal), Debbie Dean (James) and Leah Shanks (Roland). She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
