He is survived by: his pets, Oakley, Sadie and Gabby; his wife Sharon Davis; his children, Garrett Davis (Meredith) and Chandy West (Chris); his grandchildren, Christopher West, Tori West, Sierra West, Dylan West, Kiersten Davis and Kaylee Davis; and his great grandchild Lucy West.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Crown Memorial Park (9620 Rodney St, Pineville, NC 28134).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Gary's name to St. Jude's children's hospital.
