She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Cox and Helen Cox; her brothers, Mark and Scott; her husband Robert Dale Smith (Bob); her children, Rachelle Lynn McClintock, Robert Adam Smith, Scott Michael Smith, Janet Rebekah Biggerstaff, Brenda Ramirez Smith, Amy Howley Smith and Douglas Biggerstaff; her grandchildren, Rob, Anna Scott, Nicole, Will, Emerie, Quinn, Logan, Lou, Claire, Brielle and Samuel; and her friends, Ruth, Cyndi and Karen. She was also cherished by her grandchildren and any child near her who needed a grandma.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church, Water Mission, or Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region. Jan would also encourage a donation of school supplies to your local at-risk elementary school.
