The passing of Janet Hasty Blakemore (Indian Trail, North Carolina) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 31, 2025 at the age of 75. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Brons Hasty and Margie Hasty of Union County. She is survived by: her close friend Wayne Polk; her daughters, Lisa McClain (Sean) and Sheila Long (Jarrett); her brothers, Mike Hasty (Carol) and Ronnie Hasty (Dee); her grandchildren, Dillon, Tyler, Cooper McClain, Katie, Bryce and Davis Long; and her pets, Tippet and Boo.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Friendly Baptist Church (5418 Friendly Baptist Church Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Union County, NC.
