He was predeceased by: his parents, John Raymond Easley and Pearl Eviline Easley; and his spouse Madie A. Easley. He is survived by: his children, John Edward (Eddie), Elizabeth Lynn Shuemake (Libby) and Wendell (Brian); his grandchildren, Bonnie and Raven of Desiree, J. J; and his great grandchildren, Sammy, Bella, Addy and Claire.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stallings Volunteer Fire Department, or Union Emergency Medical Services.
