With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kenneth Wayne Bridges of Indian Trail, North Carolina, born in Shelby, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest Bridges and Marcella Bridges of Mooresboro, NC. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Louis Bridges, John William Bridges and Alice Bridges Guy; his granddaughter Ashlee; his nephews, Timothy Robert Bridges Jr. and John Revell; his wife Deborah Lynne Bridges of Indian Trail, NC; his son Darryl (Debbie) of Tallahassee, FL; his siblings-in-law, Marsha (Gene Revell) of Tallahassee, FL and Robert Phillips Jr. of Bristol, FL; his stepchildren, Torie and Troy Sanders of Hosford, FL.; his grandchildren, Madison Love of Cincinnati, OH, Alden Harper, Morgan Harper and Chelsea Baggett of Hosford, FL.; and his siblings, Charles David Bridges (Sue) of Shelby, NC, Roger Dale Bridges of Westminster, MD and Susan Bridges Harrill of Indian Trail, NC.. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews, thirty-four great nieces and nephews, seventeen great-great nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:15 AM at the First Baptist Church of Indian Trail (732 Indian Trail Fairview Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials be made to Council on Aging in Union County, 1401 Skyway Dr, Monroe, NC 28110.
