With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mandy Hope Smith of Indian Trail, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on November 23, 2023 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ralph, Eula Burnette, Bobby and Carole Taylor. She is survived by: her children, Abigail Ayers (Tyler) and Mason Smith; her parents, Jim Burnette and Tamara Burnette; her siblings, Natalie-Rose Catron and Tim Burnette (Von); her nephews, Ellis Catron, Austin Burnette and TJ Burnette; and her fiancé Marty Allman.

In lieu of flowers, Mandy's family requests that donations be made in her honor to help further scientific advancements in SCAD research and treatment.
