It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Micheal Wayne Smith Sr. (Indian Trail, North Carolina), who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Wadsworth Smith and Willie McGuinn Smith. He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith; his pet Daisy; his children, Stacie Coggins (Todd), Micheal Smith (Michelle) and Matt Smith (Claire); his grandchildren, Erin Stewart (Garren), Emma Coggins, Lauren Rushing (Robert), Garrett Smith (Carron), Kendal Smith, Cameron Smith, Grooms Bennett and Lily Bennett; and his siblings, Carolyn Cullingford (Harold), Larry Smith (Dottie) and Margaret Payne (Joe).
Memorials may be made to Siler Presbyterian Church in memory of Wayne Smith.
