She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Roy Holder and Violet Holder; her husband Fred L. Ashford; her daughters, Beverly Steele (Joe), Jennifer Credle (Dan) and Patrice Mason (Greg); and her grandchildren, Rebecca Steele, Matthew Steele, Maria Mason Dahl, Christina Mason Swartz, David Mason, Lydia Credle Bradshaw and Zachary Credle. She was also cherished by 4 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in her honor to Matthews United Methodist Church, 801 S. Trade St, Matthews, NC. or to a charity of your choice.
