Nina Yakovlevna Lyashenko Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nina Yakovlevna Lyashenko (Indian Trail, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 29, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Nina shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Nina farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yakov Lyashenko and Mavra Lyashenko; her sister Lidiya Lyashenko; and her former husband Valentin Stashko. She is survived by: her son Alexander Stashko (Galina); and her grandchildren, Margarita Sobolev (Nikolay), Svetlana Gurlov (Paul), Inna Memmelaar (Brad) and Andrey Stashko (Angie). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
