She is survived by: her children, Charles Downing (Judi) and Gail Tanner (Tommy); her grandchildren, Cameron (David), Pamela, Kimberly (Joshua) and Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Ben of North Carolina and Ellie Mae of North Carolina.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Hollywood Cemetery (501 Hollywood Dr, Lumberton, NC 28358). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the New Hollywood Cemetery (401 Hollywood Dr, Lumberton, NC 28358).
