He was predeceased by: his parents, George Owens and Nellie Owens (Holland); and his brothers, Terry and George Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Teressa "Terri" Owens; his children, Shannon, David Rose, Robert Jr. and Sarah Owens; his siblings, Donald, Sandy Owens and Sheila Sweet; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Braeden Owens, Peyton Owens, Phillip, Patrick and Peter Rose.
