He was predeceased by: his sister Angela Parnell. He is survived by: his parents, Henry "Bo" Amerson and Cheryl Freeman Amerson; his close friend Arabia Pryor Boykin of Indian Trail; his sisters, Pamela Amerson Williams and Stephanie Chapman (Alton); his niece Monica Chapman; his nephews, Brandon Chapman and Bryan Chapman; and his grandmother Evelyn Hanna.
