She was predeceased by: her close friend Donnie Cartee; her parents, Morris Samuel Montgomery and Kathleen Montgomery; and her brothers, Randle Montgomery and David Montgomery.
She is survived by: her daughter Brigette Edwards (Bryan); her sister Marilyn Hicks (James Lail); and her grandchildren, Emilee Edwards, Cole Cartee and Caleb Cartee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
