He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Halperin and Anne Halperin; and his sister Helen Wexler. He is survived by: his wife Mary Longley Halperin of Iron Station; his children, Eric Halperin and Heather Whittington-Smith (Robert Smith); his grandsons, Logan Whittington, Maddox Whittington and Phoenix Smith; and his nieces and nephews, Eden Wexler, Mara Wexler-Wuebker, Sammi Wuebker, Robert Herckenrath, Eric Wuebker and Jake Wuebker.
