We are sad to announce that on May 1, 2024, at the age of 62, Randall Carroll Long of Iron Station, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Carroll Long and Evelyn Beard Long; and his sister Carol Ann Dellinger. He is survived by : his daughter Sabrina Ashley Long (Heather Lovell) of Iron Station; and his sisters, Denise Clark of Iron Station and Sharon Williams (Robert) of Lincolnton. He is also survived by extended family and friends.

“Randall enjoyed privacy but made it clear, to his neighbors, that he would help anytime, always willing to slow down for meaningful conversations & to offer a friendly wave. In a world of people who, too often, don't care about animals, he kept a lovely horse named Sassy, for a long time, and was very kind to our cats, allowing them to bathe in the sun, on his deck, giving them his own names for them, and helping find them, when they were lost. God bless him, greatly, for that kindness alone.”
