He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lee Ward, Sr. and Frances Evelyn Cogdill Ward; and his siblings, Barbara Jean Ward and Harry Lee Ward, Jr. (Bo). He is survived by: his sisters, Alice Edward (Ernie) of Lincolnton, Susan Parker (Ronnie) of Lincolnton and Tena Pearson (Pres) of Blacksburg, SC; and his close friend Charlotte. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel (125 Dave Warlick Dr, Lincolnton, NC 28092). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
