He is survived by: his sister Elba Mae Cherry; his children, Bradley Roscoe Griffin (Debbie) and Beverly Griffin Honeycutt (Richie); his daughter-in-law Kristy Griffin; his grandchildren, Lauren Rayfield (Casey), Hannah Cooper (Justin), Tyler Honeycutt (Sarah), Jordan Foy and Austyn Reser (Josh); his great grandchildren, Kennedy Hope Rayfield, Judson Lee Rayfield, Andrew Brian Honeycutt, Stoney John Cooper, Elliot James Rayfield, Kinston Jay Reser, Beau Griffin Cooper and Lakely Ruth Reser; his close friend Janet Williams; and his cousin Louise "Sunshine" Williams. He is also survived by father to his two children.

Visitation was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fellowship Building of Faith Baptist Church (5194 Old Plank Rd, Iron Station, NC 28080). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
