He was predeceased by: his son Bill Madison II; and his siblings, Bonnie, William Harley, Edna, Woody Hooper, Daniel Franklin, Neal Jr., Freddie Lee, Grover Corsie and Milfred Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Evelyn Shuler of Sylva; his sons, Roy (Janet) of Rapid City, SD and Brian (Gladys) of Sylva; his daughter-in-law Dee Dee Bishop of Sylva; and his grandchildren, Amanda Colby (Alex) of Tullahoma, TN, Amber Bishop of Rapdi City, SD, Luke (Katie), Dustin of Sylva and Matthew (Lauren) of Cary. He is also survived by one nephew, five nieces, and nine great-grandchildren.
