It is with great sadness that we announce the death of DeRother Boone Tromans of Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Edward and Elizabeth "Lizzy" Ann Hasty Boone; her husband John Royston Tromans; and her son Mike Tromans. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Amanda Bell (Mike Harris) and Amy Bennett (Dennis) of Roanoke Rapids; her daughter-in-law Rita Tromans of Roanoke Rapids; and her great grandchildren, Cheyenne Hester, Madelyn Bell, Kobe Bell, Dracen, Devin and Andi Bennett.
