We bid farewell to Otis Kermit Phillips of Jackson, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Otis touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hester W. Phillips and Hattie Mathis Phillips; and his siblings, Jim, Odell of Dealous, J. L., Otelia Rigdon, Denia Nicholson, Mary Jane Owen, Birdell Garren, Edith Greer, Lobelia Shelton and Kathleen Collins.
He is survived by: his children, Donna White of Hammond, LA and Keith (Jeralene) of Mills River; his sister Juanita McCall of Mills River; and his grandchildren, Kristina Paz Ramos of Hammond, LA, Denver Worley of Weaverville, Kyra and Kaylie Phillips of Mills River.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home (181 S Caldwell St, Brevard, NC 28712).
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to Four Seasons Hospice.
