With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Larry Crawford of Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on April 15, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Glenn and Hazel Norman Crawford; and his brother-in-law Lee Roy Shuler. He is survived by : his sisters, Ruth Crawford Shuler and Jean Crawford Brown (Manley); and also, Kim Shuler (Sam), Risa Cheney (David), David Shuler (Pam), Philip Brown (Julie), Kathleen Pierce (Josh) and Matthew Brown (Megan).

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Appalachian Funeral Services (165 Skyland Dr, Sylva, NC 28779). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Robert Larry Crawford Scholarship at the Jackson County Genealogy Society, PO Box 480, Sylva, NC 28779.
