Sam Curtis Turner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sam Curtis Turner of Jackson, North Carolina, who passed away on July 3, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Felton "Buck" Turner and Myrtle Ray Turner; his stepmother Mary Fleetwood Turner; and his siblings, Joseph Felton Turner, Jr. (Camilla), Lyndal Turner and Rebecca Turner Rhoads.
He is survived by: his children, Joella Turner Brown (John) of Jackson, Myrtle Turner Earley (Randy) of Garner, Sandra Turner Brannen of Jackson and Sam C Curtis Turner, Jr. (Candace) of Burlington; his grandchildren, Lyndal Ashby White (Thadd), Parker Ray Brown (Emily), Iva Earley Nichols (Sam), Thomas Lewis Earley (Brianna), Austin Connor Brannen (Tori), William Curtis Brannen (Marieliz), Lauren Rose Turner and Sam Curtis Turner, III; his great grandchildren, Camden White, Alex White and Everette Brown; his sister Ellen Virginia Turner Winnette (Jerry) of Greensboro; and his brother-in-law George Rhoads of Ellicott City. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
