He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Branche and Eloy Branche. He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Lee of Jacksonville; his daughters, Adrienne Lee Matthews (Russ) of Charlotte and Christina Lee Stroff (Mike) of Uvalde, Texas; and his grandchildren, Caroline Lee, Kate Lee, Amelia Lee and Michael John.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Gentiva Hospice in New Bern.
