It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Arthur Estus of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 19, 2025, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Alan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Estus. He is survived by: his mother Harriet Strong; his daughter Stephanie Estus; and his siblings, Jay Estus, Teresa Anderson, Renee Bird, Arthur Estus, Timothy Estus and Leanne Strong. He is also survived by several extended family and great friends.
