Though Alexandria may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Alexandria touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ilene L. Mattocks and Hasani Wilburn (Athen) of Lancaster, TX; her siblings, Jaden Sears of Durham, NC and Cedric Mattocks of Asheville, NC; her grandparents, Jerry and Carolyn Mattocks; her aunt Roslyn Joyner (Chris) of Jacksonville, NC; and her uncle Eric Dudley (Valerie) of New Bern, NC.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Saunders Funeral Home (210 Bell Fork Rd, Jacksonville, NC 28540).
