She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Lanier and Duncan Mac Lanier; her husband Jolly Boy Pierce; her siblings, Peachie Hunter, Netha Lanier, Norma Russ and O. Q. Lanier; and her great grandchild Gray Lassitter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Faires (Charles), Lisa Williams (Andy) and Jollie "Jo" Belfiore (John); her grandchildren, Charlie Faires (Ashley), Lacy Raynor (David), Duncan Faires (Blaine), Lindsey Cotroneo (Ryan), Drew Williams (Madison), Danielle Lassitter (TJ) and Jonathon Belfiore (Miranda); her great grandchildren, Chasley, Wilson, Pierstyn and Willa Kate Faires; and her grandchildren, Brinley, Raleigh, Lilly, Granger Raynor, Kimber, Grady Faires, Jolly, Kenly Belfiore, Ellie, Walker Lassitter and June Cotroneo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
