It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Austin James Turnage (Jacksonville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his uncle Gene. He is survived by: his parents, Michael Turnage, and Helen Watson Turnage, Sr.; his fiancé Kally Holloman of Swansboro; his brothers, Michael Turnage, Jr. and Tyler Turnage of Swansboro; his nieces and nephews, Bowen, Carson, Olivia, Everlee, Austin and Turnage; and his grandmother Frances Watson of Swansboro. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
