She was predeceased by: her parents, Julia Grace and Ralph Garland Huffman of Richlands; and her brother David Huffman of Jacksonville. She is survived by: her brother Garland Lynn Huffman of Jacksonville; her husband Leo Dumphy of Jacksonville; and her children, Ralph Nelson Dumphy of Havelock, Keith Alan Dumphy of Belleview, Florida. and Gwendolyn Beth Dumphy. She is also survived by her daughter, parents and brother as well as other extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made in Barbara Dumphy's honor to First Christian Church of Richlands, NC.
