It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Eugene Pierce of Jacksonville, North Carolina, who passed away on October 4, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Carl is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Carl's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raspers Pierce and Viola Gurganus Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Marsha Pierce; his children, Leslie Parker, Diane Baker (Eric) and Elder Michael Eugene Pierce (Jenny); and his siblings, Stacy Pierce, Aubrey Pierce, Helen Shepard and Vandle Brown. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home of Jacksonville Thursday (303 Chaney Ave, Jacksonville, NC 28540). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Spring Primitive Baptist Church (24241 NC-50, Maple Hill, NC 28454). A burial will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
